That is exactly what happened at United Camp just a few weeks ago. While at United we saw over 25 people accept Christ for the first time, over 35 people get baptized and dozens of people make life changing decisions and commitments. Energy. Passion. Excitement. United. These are all things that characterize our student ministry now.
United Camp was just the beginning! Join the movement with us at The WAVE in the next few weeks, as we continue to explore this this challenge to stand united, in hope that we might be the difference and change our world!
Addiction
Addiction: 1. the state of being enslaved to a habit or practice the point that it is psychologically or physically causing trauma.
We all are addicted; to the desire to be recognized, to the need to be accepted, to satisfy the hunger for the next high, to lust, to cheat, to pain. In one way or another we are all addicted. Addition traps the addict in a world of pain, trauma, and destruction. So what do we do? How do we break free? Starting this week at the Wave, we explore ways to deal with the addictions of our lives and the satisfaction and freedom that God has to offer us if we turn to Him. So do not miss it!
The Buried Life
Ever have the busyness of life bury you beneath expectations and standards making you loose focus on what’s really important? The Buried Life is the new series at the Wave where we explore how to rediscover what should be most important in our lives. So come with us as we figure out how to dig through all the distractions in life in order to find what really matters. Every Wednesday night in April at 6:30pm. Don’t miss it!
Uprising
Does your spring break need something exciting to amp it up? Well The Wave Student Ministry has that very something you are looking for. Uprising retreat is going to be March 25-27 in Leesburg, FL and it will be an amazing experience available for all high school students. Uprising is a weekend getaway, a chance to separate from the world, and surround yourself with the truth of who God is, and the calling to step out and lead a life that reflects Him. In order to go you will need to have a signed and notarized medical release form, along with an attached parent release form by March 24. Wednesday night, March 24 will have a mandatory parent meeting right after the Wave in the Fellowship Hall where questions can be answered, forms can be turned in, and information can be clarified. The total cost of the retreat will be $99, (which includes transportation, lodging, retreat materials, and on-site meals), plus enough money for lunch on the trip up and back. March Madness
March Madness is the greatest time of the year for any basketball fan. These basketball fans are glued to the tv, attending games in full face paint and dressed from head to toe in their team’s colors, and are rabid and passionate in their supportive cheers. We all are fans of something. Whether its basketball, football, soccer, movies, music, school, friends, family or anything else. We are all passionate, crazy, or mad about something and live for the moments we get to be a part of those passions. At the Wave we are impassioned about Jesus. We want to move into madness for Christ. There is no greater love than Him. There is no greater cause then this. Join the movement. Join the Madness.
Pirates Vs. Ninja
The Wave is back and it is tackling one of the biggest and toughest questions of all time: Pirates or Ninjas? Which one is better? Which one would win? Well the next 5 weeks at The Wave Student Ministry, we will be examining what the Bible says about teamwork and dealing with others by taking a look at Pirate and Ninja ways of life. There will be games, food, fun and plenty of other students that are passionate about their side. So come to the Wave and pick a side, pirate or a ninja? 
United Camp
WOW ITS GETTIN’ COLD!!! Which means Christmas is right around the corner, which also means presents are going to be under the tree soon. Here is a chance to have a fantastic Christmas present and an amazing summer! United Camp is going to be one of the most intense and exciting events CBG Student Ministry has ever seen! The camp is going to be July 12-16 and it will be held at CBG and Deerfield Beach, but the best thing: the price for camp is cut in half this year. Normally camp costs $300 but this year it is only $169!!!! WOW!!!! United Camp is for students for grades 6–12 and will be a week long experience that will take the students out of the chaos of their everyday lives and places them in an atmosphere that will change their lives in powerful ways through great worship sessions, amazing fellowship, and a great time!
