Hello Wave Student Ministry this is your summer Intern Adam just encouraging you guys to come out to The Wave and be a part of our “Love God, Love People” series. This is the 3rd week of the series and you don’t want to miss out. “Love God, Love People” is just that simple. LifeGroups
I am sorry to say that our Sunday morning LifeGroups are cancelled for the next 7 weeks. Our room is needed to seat the overflow from our crazy huge weekend services!! So thanks for helping us with giving all these new people places to sit!! As soon as LifeGroups start back up yall will be the first to know.
Summer!!
Hey guys, as we all know the school year is quickly ending!! HEYO!! There are going to be alot of awesome things going on this summer at the Wave so make sure you stay plugged in so you dont miss out on all the fun!!
BFF
This week starts our new series BFF!!! BFF is going to be awesome!! We are gonna have fun games and a crazy good time. And best of all we are going to learn about our relationships and how we can make them better with our friends and God! So dont miss out!!
Tacky Prom
Make sure you are here this Wednesday for Tacky Prom!! It is going to be crazy fun! There will be music, crazy fun, food, crazy fun, dancing, tacky clothes, and crazy fun! You need to be here on Wednesay for Tacky Prom, and make sure you wear the tackiest outfit you can put together!!!!!
Disciple Now Recap
We just finished our student ministry’s first ever Dicsiple Now event this weekend! It was amazing! We had 100 students show up, and it was really cool to see God work in their lives this weekend. Our speaker was Jeff Woodard, and he did an incredible job–”What is God saying to you, and what is your response?” Rob Lopez led our worship band and they rocked the house! Overall this was a great weekend of God leading students to next steps in their journey with him.
I would also like to say thank you to all of those who helped out with D-Now: all of our leaders, host home families, Jeff Woodard, Rob and his band, and Carson Day we could not have pulled this awesome weekend off without you!
Students don’t forget to come and tell us how God worked in your life this weekend! We want to hear your stories!
New Series: Chasing
We have a new series starting tonight at The Wave. It’s called “Chasing” and it is going to be a two week series. We will be talking about what we’re chasing after in life. Are we chasing after sin and our selfish desires, or are we chasing after God and drawing closer to him. So make sure you are here and be ready to have a great time!
New Series: Satan’s Sex Ed
We started our new series Satan’s Sex Ed last week…and it was awesome! Satan teaches us a lot of lies about sex and relationships. During this series, we want to show you God’s view on sex and relationships and tear down the lies that Satan spreads. Last week TC did an amazing job kicking off the series and talked about dating boundaries. This week we have an awesome guest speaker and we will be talking about the emotional side of relationships. You do not want to miss out on The Wave this week! Make sure you are there and you bring your friends!
Oh..and we had 350 people at The Wave last week!!! God is so incredible and is doing some really cool stuff in our Student Ministry!
We also want to thank lifechurch.tv for the idea of Satan’s SexEd. They did this series a while ago, and we got the artwork and video ideas from them. So thank you lifechurch.tv for your ideas and all that you do!
